Egypt to participate in launching AfCFTA Guided Trade Initiative in Ghana


Egypt will participate with the largest shipment of products to Ghana within the framework of the initiative, according to a press statement.

The 10th African Trade Ministerial Meeting of the AFCFTA will be hosted for two days in the Ghanaian capital Accra.

The initiative will symbolize the beginning of commercially meaningful trade on a pilot basis between Ghana, Cameroon, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Tunisia. These countries were selected to represent the five African Union regions, namely: Western, Central, Eastern, Southern and Northern Africa, respectively.
