The PACCI Executive Council is the elected governing body directing the continental chamber’s strategy, advocacy, and institutional partnerships. Central Africa
Sits atop some of the world’s most significant natural resource deposits- cobalt, coltan, copper, timber, and oil, yet remains the least integrated region on the continent. The DRC alone holds an estimated 70% of the world’s cobalt reserves, essential for the global electric vehicle transition. The Congo Basin is the world’s second lung, making the region central to any credible climate finance conversation. For business, this gap between resource wealth and economic development is precisely the opportunity: infrastructure investment, logistics, financial services, agribusiness, and value-addition manufacturing are all under-served in a region of 200 million people.
