The European Union is investing €40 million to modernize the Douala–N’Djamena trade corridor, a crucial route linking Cameroon’s Douala port to Chad’s capital. The project, part of the EU’s Global Gateway initiative and backed by an EU-IFC guarantee mechanism, aims to enhance infrastructure, regional integration, job creation, and stabilityin Central Africa.
