The Mayors – Private Sector Conference is a flagship initiative of the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association (ECCSA). The conference is planned to help create a platform for awareness-raising, networking, and partnership between mayors of Ethiopian cities and the business community leaders and operators. This in effect brings about business growth in cities and economic development in the cities in particular and in the country in general.

The theme of the conference is ‘Resilient Cities: Entrepreneurship Initiatives for cities Recovery and Growth and the Roles of Mayors’   Mayors understanding their own entrepreneurship eco-system, discovering innovative policies that improve economic outcomes, and implementing those policies within their unique cities.’ This year again the conference will realize a highly interactive event that provide information, knowledge and experience on business development considering issues like values of Economic Corridor and MSMEs status and role dynamism in the existing situation in the country. It will also provide an opportunity to refine commitments of actions and pledges from key stakeholders.
